Fiona was born in Adelaide, Australia before immigrating to the UK at a young age. Fiona began her studies with a broad Environmental Science degree at Salford University, part of which included a year in industry with the Fijian Government working on the Pacific Year of the Coral Reef obtaining funding for permanent dive moorings, before narrowing the field down to Environmental Management with her MSc from Aberdeen University which included a placement with the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) responding to the planning consultations. Fiona went on to undertake her Town and Country Planning Post Graduate Diploma whilst working full time on a range of renewable energy projects.
Fiona is an experienced Project Manager used to delivering projects on time and on budget with a multi-disciplinary team. Fiona believes that good communication is the key element in achieving a successful development.
Fiona has a good understanding of a broad base of environmental issues allowing her to provide balance and perspective through the planning process to achieve a successful development in often sensitive or contentious locations.

Fiona is a keen horse rider and competes at an amateur level in dressage, and show jumping.
