Surface Planner attains RTPI Chartered status
21 December 2016
Alasdair Adey, Planning Consultant at Surface, has recently qualified as a Chartered Town Planner, awarded by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Alasdair is now a qualified member of the institute (MRTPI).
Alasdair originally joined Surface in 2014 after graduating from Edinburgh Heriot-Watt University with an RTPI-accredited MSc degree in Urban and Regional Planning. During his time as a member of the RTPI, Alasdair has developed his professional experience, working on a wide-range of schemes, including residential and commercial property, and infrastructure projects. This has allowed him to develop the competencies expected of a Chartered Planning Consultant, and successful completion of the RTPI assessment of professional competency has confirmed his experience and skills are those of a Chartered Town Planner.
Alasdair said “I am delighted to attain this personal and professional milestone, and I look forward to continuing to develop my professional competency and expertise. The range of projects I have worked on during my time at Surface has undoubtedly contributed to the development of my professional abilities, whilst the advice and support I have received from my colleagues has been fantastic.”
Surface promotes professional development in our staff so our clients can be reassured that our team members are continually developing their skills and working to a professional code of conduct.
